Blue Jays Prospect Report – May 7, 2012

David Cooper continues to mash and was easily minor league player of the day. Drew Hutchison continues to be good and bad, it is clear some of his success will always be dependent on his defense going forward.

Hitters:

AAA (1B) David Cooper, 3-5, 3 RBI, .333, 2B (12), 2 HR (4)
AAA (CF) Anthony Gose, 2-5, 2 RBI, .232, HR (1)
HiA (CF) Jake Marisnick, 1-4, .256
LoA (LF) Chris Hawkins, 1-4, .307
LoA (C) Carlos Perez, 1-4, 1 RBI, .247, 2b (7)
LoA (3B) Kellen Sweeney, 1-2, .193, BB (14); off to slow start

Pitchers:

MLB (SP) Drew Hutchison, 5.1 ip, 8 h, 4 er, 0 bb – 6 k, 6.65; has been inconsistent and gives up too many hits on most nights.
